Different types of link placements

We have a couple of ways to insert links into articles, and here is a quick explanation!

Creating and maintaining a natural backlink profile can be hard work. We have been working with publishers to offer two different types of link placement to help you mix up your articles and keep them natural. This can also be important if you are working on E.E.A.T for your sites.

How do you specify your link type?

During the personalisation process, you can select how you would like the link to be inserted in the article.

After you approve the publisher you want, a pop-up will ask you to finish personalising the rest of the placement before adding it to the shopping cart.

Under Link Placement, make your selection from the dropdown box. Keep reading for more explanation on these different types of links:


Contextual Links

A contextual link is when we select a word or phrase within an article and insert a hyperlink back to the target website. This is the most common form of link placement and allows for greater control over your anchor cloud.

When we write an article for the publisher, we can include an image that you provide and credit the image back to your website:
