When setting up a new user, a part of this process involves deciding what level of access you want a user to have. This all depends on what this person is required to do. Let me explain more!
With user access, we have 4 different levels. These are:
Admin: This access allows the user to do everything you're able to do as the account owner. Restriction: They're unable to delete your account as the account owner
Standard: This access allows the user to approve and reject placements and also have access to store credits in order to purchase placements. Restrictions: They're not allowed to add store credit, request refunds or add users
Read Only: This access will only allow the user to review the projects and also receive email notifications. Restrictions: They're not allowed to make any changes at all or view the store credit amount
Unverified: This restricts the user from accessing the app.
So depending on what you need this user to do in relation to your projects, this will help you to decide what level of access needs to be assigned π
Let me show you how this can all be done!
User Manager
Once you've logged onto your dashboard, click the icon at the top right of the page and select User Manager
Edit user access
Against the user you wish to amend, now you can Edit their access by clicking on the pencil icon. If this user is not available on your list, you'll need to add them. To find out more, check out the What's next section of this article to see how this is done! π
Type of user
Now you'll be able to select the type of user based on the amount of access you would like to give! All 4 options will be available on the drop-down list. Once you're happy, click Update User:
Review companies
You have a chance to review the companies already assigned, as you may wish to make changes at this stage. If not, click on Update and you're all done! π
